Joining Meet Me for Lunch was the smartest move I've ever made. After my divorce I was reluctant to go out and meet new people so a married friend kept pushing me to call this matchmaking service. When I finally did I was so relieved to discover how kind, caring and understanding Patti and Mary were. They really spent a lot of time talking with me and building my confidence before I had my first date. It was wonderful.
When I met Mike, he was the perfect gentleman and our date was a really nice experience for us both. Since then we have dated exclusively and are making big plans for our future together.
Apparently Patti and Mary caution everyone to go slow as they build a relationship and to not rush into anything too soon. I feel that their advice in that area has made my relationship with Mike the success that it is. I've been single for a few years and was kind of getting used to it when my sister called me and talked me into checking the Meet Me for Lunch website. I had been on Match at one point and that whole scene turned me off but figured it couldn't hurt anything to look. I was expecting a dating site but learned that it's a business that caters to busy singles and finds potential matches for them without use of a computer dating system. That was wild so I called to get more info and eventually signed up.
So far I've had some fun dates with some really good people. I work up on the slope and so every minute I'm home counts. I'm pretty active outdoors and like to get out of Anchorage to hike and camp during my time off. Patti and Mary understood that and matched me with others who had similar goals, but they also convinced me to be more flexible with my time if I really wanted to find a relationship. Not all of the matches have been romantic connections but they are all people that I like and am getting to know as good friends. I definitely feel that Meet Me for Lunch is a good option for meeting people and getting things figured out, and I do recommend it to anyone who wants to meet great people as they search for their partner."

When I signed up with Meet Me for Lunch I was excessively overweight and had never dated or had a girlfriend (other than a few female friends in college but I was just their big buddy). I was immersed in a job I hated and thought that my life would never change. It totally sucked to be me.
Meeting these matchmakers changed it all. I had blamed everyone else for my lame life and had always made excuses for my problems, but Patti and Mary would have none of it. Where my family and friends had let me get away with that for years, these two weren't about to cater to that dysfunction and they called me on it almost immediately. They explained that since I had already paid them for my membership, they really stood nothing to gain if I did or didn't find a mate, but that they take their success very seriously and I needed to man-up as they would be pushing me relentlessly to succeed. Essentially they told me that if I wanted to move ahead and create a healthy future and a happy relationship I needed to stop leaning on my past like a crutch and get over it. I'll never forget when Mary said to me "It's Tough Love, Cupcake" when I was whining one day. Lol! And it was. But they cared and I knew it. That made a huge difference for me.
Well, they were spot on. Their goal for me was true love and they warned me that the path to prepare myself for finding it would be hard. Not only did they hook me up with a physical trainer and nutritionist, they coached me each week, too. Patti would meet me for breakfast before work once a week and we sorted it all out over a period of about a year. She really kicked my butt but it was worth it!
I am now a new man! I have lots of relationships and am enjoying dating different people. I can hardly believe that I have girls in my life who seriously like me and enjoy my company! In reality, it feels unreal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mary & Patti for not taking my crap, for pushing me to explore my own realities and for completely changing my life! All of my relationships are improved immensely and I know I owe it all to the amazing support I received from these two women."

When I signed up for meet me for lunch, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted in a partner and I was very precise in my description of my ideal mate. That's why when I met my first match, I was surprised that this person displayed qualities and characteristics that I had not listed. However, I am now in a terrific relationship with a person who had previously been pretty much the opposite of the person I thought I wanted and we've been together for almost a year! Patti and Mary had explained that as I dated, my priorities for my mate would change and that turned out to be so true. Thank you both. I could not be happier!"

When I started paying attention to my personal life again, it seemed like everyone was already hooked up so meeting girls who weren't, was interesting.
When I met Patti, she asked me plenty of questions about myself and talked about how she might be able to help. I wanted a guarantee and she told me that nothing is guaranteed when it comes to love, that memberships are non-refundable, and that I would need to come in with a positive attitude and an open mind. Hmmm. Then I signed up anyway.
It was a good decision on my part because I met a terrific girl, we have a ton in common and we've been hanging out now since Spring. It's good and I'm feeling like Patti and Mary really hit the mark for me. Thanks Girls!"
